Palace attributes Duterte trust rating jump to Marawi

Malacañang has attributed the big 15-point jump in the trust rating of President Duterte in the latest Social Weather Stations survey to the liberation of Marawi City from the Maute Group after a five-month siege last year.

President Duterte has urged Filipinos to show compassion to the less fortunate and remember those who have risked their lives to retake Marawi City from the Islamic State-inspired Maute Group this Christmas.
