MOCHA USON, paano na ang Senado?

Bumisita si PCOO Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson sa Pampanga bilang panauhin sa elimination round ng Pampanga’s Got Talent kung saan sampung contestants ang sumalang sa unang batch. Napansin kong ko may close in media na kasama ang Assistant Secretary. Taga HBO New York daw ang bumubuntot kay Mocha kaya tuloy natanong ko siya kung anong meron? Say ni Mocha, “Gusto nilang i-document kung gaano ba talaga ka popular si President Duterte dito sa bansa natin dahil marami daw na mga banyaga na hindi makapaniwala na marami ang sumusuporta kay presidente.”

DAVAO City Mayor Sara Duterte Carpio led the Tapang at Malasakit Alliance last weekend to Macau, and Hong Kong, China, where she was welcomed by cheering crowds of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).

Mocha’s move

SO the headline-attracting Mocha Uson, assistant secretary to Communications Secretary Martin Andanar, has succumbed to public opinion (of how many?) and returned the award given her by the UST Alumni Association. By the way, the thought of rescinding the award (for government service) never crossed the board members’ minds.

I don’t read Maria Ressa’s Rappler’s online news and I’m not a follower of Mocha Uson on her Facebook. Fact is, I’m terribly old-school, i.e., the school of Gutenberg. But when I saw James Franco owning up to TV host Stephen Colbert that he does not do FB or Twitter, I could’ve named him Man of the Year, for giving me reason to no longer be ashamed of my lack of literacy.
