Senators seek review of distracted driving rules

Senators yesterday called for a review of the Anti-Distracted Driving Act as they expressed regret that transportation officials watered down the whole intent of the law with the enforcement of numerous and unnecessary restrictions and limitations against drivers.

Cynthia A. Villar and Nancy Binay – welcomed yesterday the signing of the memorandum of agreement (MoA) scrapping the payment of airport terminal fees by overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and other persons exempted by the law.
