More troops secure Davao City

The Armed Forces of the Philippines has deployed another infantry battalion to secure Davao City from the New People’s Army and terrorists.

A small-time miner was abducted by alleged New People’s Army (NPA) rebels Saturday in Agusan del Sur.
Capt. Jasper T. Gacayan, 401st Brigade Civil Military Operations (CMO) officer said victim Carzon Ceasar C. Lademora was snatched from his mining tunnel that was ransacked by the rebels who are said to be from the guerilla-Front Committee 14 of the CPP-NPA Northeastern Mindanao Regional Committee led by certain ”Monic”.
