Welcome report in a season of goodwill

IT was hardly noticed because of so many news stories that vied for the people’s attention. But in so many ways, President Duterte’s personally sending off the crew of a detained Vietnamese fishing vessel a week ago was the kind of story that inspires hope and goodwill, at a time when nearly every other story is so discouraging.

A woman said to be the notorious leader of a gun-for-hire group, was arrested by joint operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) and Umingan Police in Rizal Street, Brgy. Poblacion East, Umingan, Pangasinan.
