House panel OKs emergency powers for Digong vs traffic

The House Committee on Transportation approved yesterday a bill granting special powers for the Duterte administration to address the lingering traffic crisis in the country for a period of three years.

A House leader has echoed the call of House Speaker Pantaleon D. Alvarez to investigate the veracity of an alleged plot by former United States Ambassador to the Philippines Philip Goldberg to remove President Duterte from office.
