PH golf tour kicks off 2017

The Philippine Golf Tour kicks off its new season at the Anvaya Cove Golf and Sports Club in Morong, Bataan next week with the P3.5 million ICTSI Anvaya Cove Invitational featuring the cream of the country’s pro crop, plus a host of foreign aces.

There was the putt on the 18th hole, a 60-footer for eagle that peeled off to the right, broke back to the left and slowly tumbled into the cup as it was losing speed. Not since the 2008 US Open at Torrey Pines has a putt on the 18th hole received so much attention.

Tabuena makes cut at Sony Open

Miguel Tabuena finally broke a two-year disappointment and made the cut in the prestigious Sony Open in Hawaii after carding a second round five-under-par 65 yesterday at the Waialae Country Club in Honolulu.
