Rains due to NE monsoon

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the Northeast monsoon is prevailing over Luzon as an Intertropical Convergence Zone is affecting Mindanao.

A low-pressure area (LPA) spotted east of the country has a minimal chance of intensifying into a tropical cyclone, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said yesterday.
