Jakarta votes amid blasphemy trial

Jakarta’s Christian governor who is standing trial for blasphemy fought to cling on to his job Wednesday in a high-stakes election seen as a test of religious tolerance in Muslim-majority Indonesia.

The son of a Moro National Liberation Front leader has been arrested and detained in Malaysia for his alleged involvement in the Davao City night market bombing last September 2.
