Concern raised about Trump, nuclear codes

New United States President Donald Trump has not fared very well in his first eight months in office. His bid to stop the entry of visitors from six mostly Muslim countries was held back for months by courts. He has received no support for his plan to build a wall along the border with Mexico. The US Congress, despite its Republican majority, has not approved his health care bill with which he had hoped to replace the previous administration’s Obamacare.

Recently, President Rody admitted that only two out of five of his public statements are true. The rest are just wisecracks.

IN the same spirit as his visit to Cuba last December, United States (US) President Barack Obama went to Hanoi, Vietnam, last Monday. As the visit to Cuba ended five decades of Cold War hostility between the two Western Hemisphere neighbors, the visit to Hanoi sought to transform an old enemy in the Vietnam War of 1958-1975 into a new partner for peace in our part of the world.
