Binay returns from Saudi visit

Vice President Jejomar C. Binay returned home late Friday night after a brief visit to Saudi Arabia, where he attended the burial of Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz in behalf of President Benigno Aquino III.

Malacanang said yesterday that the death of former Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) spokesman Gregorio “Ka Roger” Rosal will not have any impact on the peace process between the government and the CPP-New People’s Army (NPA)-National Democratic Front (NDF).
