Sumunod na kayang magpo-propose ng marriage si Luis Manzano kay Jessy Mendiola? Naunahan siya ng BFF niyang si Billy Crawford na engaged na kay Coleen Garcia. Wala pang detalye ng kanilang kasal. Ang tanging sabi ni Billy, “It should not be anytime soon .” May mga obligation pa raw sila at kailangan pa nilang magtrabaho para sa kanilang magandang kinabukasan.

SENATE Minority Leader Ralph Recto has called for itemization of billions of pesos in lump-sum appropriations in the proposed National Budget for 2017. Itemization, he said, will avert the underspending that held back the operations of government in the last year of the previous Aquino administration.

Anti-car bias

There’s an anti-car bias out there. The plan to increase the excise tax on fuel from under P4/liter to P10 is the biggest worrier for owners of cars as well as those dreaming of finally owning one (if only to save themselves from the daily risk of riding on MRT-LRT). Bills and proposals from out of nowhere seek to restrict car ownership, e.g., no-garage-no-car, blaming cars for air pollution, limiting the hours of private cars on EDSA, etc.
