Senate eyes approval of P2,000 SSS pension hike

Senator Cynthia Villar has expressed optimism that the Senate will approve a bill granting the P2,000 across-the-board increase in the pension of 1.9 million Social Security System (SSS) members.

Ten officers and members of the Tau Gamma Phi fraternity in this city are facing charges in court for violation of Republic Act 8049 or The Anti-Hazing Law.
