For status quo in House positions

We can understand Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez’s desire to remove party allies led by former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo from their key positions in the House of Representatives for voting against the death penalty bill.

Any attempt to insert additional criminal acts to the four heinous crimes already listed in the death penalty menu will be blocked when the House of Representatives votes on the measure possibly on Tuesday.
