Bill lowering criminal age set to be passed

The House Subcommittee on Correctional Reforms is set to approve next week a bill seeking to lower the minimum age of criminal liability to 12-years-old.

Lawmakers yesterday called on the new leadership of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority to conduct a thorough review of big-ticket contracts entered into by the previous management following reports that several transactions have been tainted with graft.
