Probe on bogus claimants pressed

The Samahan ng Ex-detainees Laban sa Detensyon at Aresto (SELDA) has demanded an independent inquiry into how a gang of bogus claimants managed to encash checks meant for awardees in the Marcos human rights case.

Farmers picketed the San Miguel Corp. (SMC) main office to protest the alleged landgrabbing of more than 300 hectares of land in Tungkong Mangga, San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan for the benefit of SMC-controlled Metro Rail Transit (MRT) 7.
