PBA: Globalport shores up incentive bid, whips NLEX

Terrence Romeo and Stanley Pringle, known around the basketball circle as the “Slash Brothers”, took turns in leading Globalport past NLEX, 110-96, yesterday to boost its bid for a twice-to-beat incentive in the quarterfinals of the PBA Philippine Cup at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Alaska’s do-it-all forward Calvin Abueva made an instant impact on his return as he powered the Aces to their first win this season, a come-from-behind 95-84 win over GlobalPort in the PBA Philippine Cup last night at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
