Senate committee won’t touch alleged poll fraud

The Senate electoral reform and people’s participation in the 16th Congress refused yesterday to undertake a probe on allegations that Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong’’ R. Marcos Jr. was cheated by as much as 300,000 votes and thus lost to Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo in the vice presidential race.

He may be disappointed with the outcome of the presidential race but President Aquino is grinning nowadays since his nemesis Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. lost in the vice presidential elections.

Malacañang has accepted the outcome of the presidential elections showing a looming landslide victory of Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, saying it hopes the incoming leader to continue the “Daang Matuwid.”
