Closer ties with China, Russia, and the US

JOINT military exercises with the United States were scaled down last year following President Duterte’s call for a more independent foreign policy for the Philippines. The President said the Philippines would develop closer ties with China and Russia, two nations which have long been perceived as rivals of the US-led West in international affairs.

China is considering providing modern radio transmitters to help upgrade the Philippine government’s communication facilities and broaden its reach to the Filipino people.

They have every intention of being seen in China, and seen supporting the two Presidents, Xi Jinping of China and Rodrigo Duterte of the Philippines, as well as participating in business forums and maybe cashing in on a deal or two on the side, but will there be enough plane seats and hotel rooms for all of them?
