Manila, Philippines – The Global Media Forum (GMF) and the 16th National Press Congress (16th NPC) scheduled for Dec. 8-10, this year, in Boracay Island, will be launched on Saturday, Oct. 15, at the Cellar Room of Century Park Hotel, Manila, at 6 p.m. Louie T. Arriola, publisher of Asean BizTimes and Vice President of the Boracay Global Press Corps (BGPC), will chair this year’s joint national and international media event.
Arriola, who is also a member of the World Association of Newspapers (WANIFRA) and Publishers Association of the Philippines, Inc. (PAPI), announced that the 2011 GMF and the 16th NPC in Boracay will bring together some 500 executives and journalists from different media organization worldwide.
Participants to the three-day international media event will include publishers, broadcasters, CEOs, managing directors, chief editors, senior media executives, as well as global experts, tourism editors, photojournalists, information officers, officers of media organizations, clubs, and publication editors from the academe from various regions of the world, including the Philippines.
