Manila, Philippines – A former Philippine National Police (PNP) officer and an old hand of the Bureau of Customs (BoC) Intelligence and Investigation Service, Rolando Sacramento, are expected to fill up two recently vacated posts at the BoC, putting a lid on speculations that there is a vacuum of leadership.
Customs Commissioner Ruffy Biazon said the retired PNP officer might snag the crucial post at the Enforcement and Security Service (ESS), pending the official announcement from Malacanang.
“We have a nominee for (ESS) director. Our recommendation was approved by Finance Secretary (Cesar) Purisima and it was forwarded to the Office of the President,“ said Biazon. (Raymund F. Antonio)
