Hewlett-Packard has launched its newest consumer Android devices: HP Slate 7,HP Slatebook X2 and HP Slate 21 All-In-One.
HP Slate 7
“HP envisioned the HP Slate 7 as a true mobile companion. It is designed to offer solutions for the immediate computing needs of people on the go,” Albert Mateo, Jr., HP Philippines Country General Manager for Printing and Personal Systems group, said. “Definitely, the Slate 7 has something to offer for everyone – from apps to games, entertainment to productivity.”
The HP Slate 7 is fully powered by the Android 4.1 operating system that ensures speedy performance, fluidity in application use and direct access to Google Play for rich multi-media capabilities, latest apps, music, games and the latest security measures.
It is powered by the ARM A9 Dual Core 1.6 GHz, a low-energy, high-performance processor, with a 1GB RAM and an 8 GB eMMC memory with a Micro SD port for expansion up to 32GB. It also comes with a powerful battery that can accommodate up to 5 hours of video playback.
HP Slate 7’s rear camera, with a 3MP sensor, as well as front-facing shooter VGA video webcam are more than adequate for any user’s imaging and daily photography needs. The WiFi and Bluetooth keep the users connected anytime, anywhere.
The slate boasts Beats technology by Dr. Dre audio so users can listen to music the way the artist intended and watch movies with high performance audio experience. HP Slatebook x2
The HP SlateBook x2 enables users to shift effortlessly from entertainment to work by combining tablet portability with notebook productivity in a sleek, lightweight device that uses the popular Android operating system. With an advanced magnetic hinge design and dual battery system—one battery in the base and one in the tablet—users can easily switch from notebook to tablet and back, even while on the go.
The HP SlateBook x2 features Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 and delivers the Google experience with services like Google Now, Google Search, Gmail, YouTube, Google Drive and Google+ Hangouts for multiperson video chat as well as access to apps and digital content through Google Play.
The SlateBook x2 features an NVIDIA Tegra 4 mobile processor, enabling users to access the TegraZone app and experience Tegra 4-optimized games.
The 10.1-inch HD touchscreen display delivers crisp lines, sharp images and precision color while reducing glare. The SlateBook x2 also includes up to 64 GB of storage and DTS Sound+ Solution for accessing and enjoying photos, music and videos.
