Allein Malliksi will be suiting up for yet another ballclub after the former UST Growling Tiger and PBA D-League MVP was dealt to the San Mig Coffee Mixers in exchange for Wesley Gonzales, Cris Pacana and a 2017 second round pick.
The approved trade further bolsters the already deep lineup of the San Mig Coffee Mixers, a move that has drawn criticism from Alaska head coach Luigi Trillo via Twitter.
Best Barako talent Maliksi for Bench players Gonzales and Pacana? Are you kidding me? Maliksi is the best player on that Barako team.

Would you trade James Yap for Bulawan and Celino Cruz? Cannot see the logic In letting a talent like Maliksi go.

Maliksi is expected to play his first game as a San Mig Coffee Mixer tomorrow when they face the Air21 Express.
The Maliksi for Gonzales and Pacana trade was the second trade made by the Energy Colas. A few days ago, Barako agreed to swap big men with San Mig’s sister squad, Petron.
The trade saw Doug Kramer going to Petron in exchange for Dorian Pena who returns to Barako Bull Energy for a second tour of duty.
