We just can’t get enough of audio surfing. The better the sounds, the more addictive we become, which is why we’ve found a device to bring more color into your music listening experience.
The JBL Flip has a ton of fun in it. It has an attractive and simple design that is small and light enough to fit any pocket. We’ve taken this little device outdoors with great results. We took it to places like in malls and even tried it in empty rooms and we were impressed how loud and rich the Flip can deliver its audio.
Design-wise, we’re flipping over JBL’s portable speaker. It’s light enough to be carried around everywhere and fits in every luggage without cramming it.
It can be set up either lying down “flip” it to stand up, either way it looks fantastic and suits any home design. The volume and power button is found on one end of the Flip. There really isn’t too much of a difference between having the Flip lying or standing up, audio quality is just as outstanding as it were. But being able to “flip it up” adds to the device’s flexibility.
We’ve also tried connecting the device while in conversation with someone over the phone, and we found a lot of fun in the experience, being able to extend the conversation in a wider range.
The battery lasts up to five hours, which is quite reasonable and takes around three hours to charge fully. So, make sure you charge it the day before taking it out for a lovely spin.
Next, let’s trail onto audio quality – which is what we’re really after. Given its size, it is very impressive, loud and crisp to the ear. Very enjoyable to turn up the notch and let the entire room come to life with music – or, let the sadness pour in, depending on what type of music you’re listening to.
But don’t just take our word for it, if you see this thing behind the window, why not take a quick look at it and try it out. Who knows, you might find the the JBL Flip might be worth the buck.
