Nokia Philippines is set to crown the coolest dance crew in this year’s Skechers Streetdance Battle 9, the ultimate dance-off happening on November 23 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The champion team will be named ambassadors of Nokia Asha, the line of budget handsets that offer the goodness of a smartphone. The winning team will appear in a Nokia promotional video while each crew member takes home a Nokia Asha 501 unit.
Embodying the “Power Standout” quality of the Nokia Asha 501, unique individuals who will dazzle the audience on the dancefloor during the colossal finals can also win P20,000 cash prize from Nokia Philippines.
Members of the audience also have the chance to win the Nokia Asha 501 by joining the raffle promo. To join, simply purchase a Skechers Streetdance Battle 9 Final Battle ticket at any SM Ticket outlets or regular-priced Skechers footwear from any of the participating Skechers or SM Department store.

The 12 finalists in the country’s supreme dance crew are: Lyceum Spartans Dance Troupe of Lyceum of the Philippines University-Laguna; OC Performing Arts of Olivarez College; La Salle Dance Company-Street of De La Salle University-Manila; TIP Aeon Crew of the Technological Institute of the Philippines-Manila; FEU Diliman Crew of the Far Eastern University-Diliman; UE Extreme Squad of the Univeristy of the East-Manila; Wyre Underground of the University of the Philippines-Los Banos; RedFox Dance Company of Earist; Groove One of the Philippine School of Business Administration; APC Dance Company of the Asia Pacific College; Letran Street Dance Crew of Colegio San Juan de Letran-Calamba; and Diliman UP Streetdance Club of the University of the Philippines.
