Member-schools of the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) now have access to a custom mobile application developed by Vibal Group’s technology arm Vibe Technologies, Inc.
Launched at the recent 2013 CEAP National Convention in Cebu City last September 25 to 27, the CEAP App is the official application of the largest organization of Catholic schools in the country, with around 1,360 members. This mobile app will allow users to access innovative features such as an interactive virtual map of the different CEAP member schools, which when tapped will reveal business information and other important details about the school.
The app will present the latest news, updates, press releases, and announcements about the national convention and other organization-related information to keep members constantly updated.
CEAP officers will also utilize the app as an interactive medium to connect with members. The app will be used to send out letters and reports from the CEAP president, show photo galleries depicting events and activities, and offer contact information that will make CEAP board members and committees more accessible to the member-schools. The digital platform will even offer download links to important resources and assets gathered from the CEAP website, giving mobile device owners a more convenient user experience.
The CEAP app was declared available for free download on the Google Play Store last September 20 while the iOS version is currently being reviewed prior to uploading on the Apple Store.
Mobile device users were pleased to download the app during the CEAP convention, which gathered around 3,000 delegates composed of school heads, area coordinators, teachers, students, and parents of Catholic schools and religious congregations. The custom app project also highlighted the enduring partnership between Vibal and CEAP and this year’s convention.
