Manila, Philippines – With a 1-3 record, Rain or Shine is reportedly replacing import Alex McLean in the hope of turning its fortunes around in the ongoing PBA Commissioner’s Cup.

A team insider said McLean will be replaced by Wayne Chism, a 6-foot-7 forward who was originally tapped by Barako Bull as its reinforcement for the ongoing PBA Commissioner’s Cup.

The Elasto Painters have reached an agreement with Chism’s representatives in the United States with the University of Tennessee alumnus expected to join the team later this week.

The 26-year-old Chism had played a tune-up game for Barako against Alaska where he tallied 25 points and 17 rebounds in the Energy Cola’s 94-89 win.

But he was disallowed by FIBA to play in the PBA as he still have a contractual obligation from his previous team Albacomp of the Hungarian Basketball League.
