Paul George of the Indiana Pacers suffered a devastating leg injury during a U.S. national team scrimmage in Las Vegas.
George tried to contest a layup attempt by James Harden of the Houston Rockets in the fourth quarter when he fell awkwardly against the bottom of the back-board stanchion.
George was later on carried out on a stretcher with player visibly upset. The scrimmage would be later called off in respect to George and his family
George later on thanks everyone for their prayers and support and promised to come back better than ever.
