Robin, Mariel hindi package deal

SA presscon ng “Talentadong Pinoy 2014,” nilinaw ni Ms. Wilma Galvante (TV5 chief entertainment content officer) na hindi package deal sina Robin Padilla at Mariel Rodriguez bilang hosts ng naturang talent show. Aniya, choice nila ni Mr. Noel Lorenzana (TV5 president and CEO) na kung si Robin ang magho-host sa pagbabalik sa ere ng TP, it would be better na kasama si Mariel.

Bagama’t may existing contract si Robin sa ABS-CBN, walang naging problema sa pagtanggap niya sa offer ng Kapatid Network na i-host ang TP 2014. Ani Robin, nagpaalam siya sa management ng Kapamilya Network at masaya ang mga big boss na magkasama pa sila ni Mariel sa TP 2014.

“Na-miss ko ’yung pagsasama namin ni Mariel sa “Wowowee!” ani Robin. Matatandaang pansamantalang pumalit ang aktor kay Willie Revillame bilang host ng WWW. Memorable kina Robin at Mariel ang WWW dahil du’n sila nagkakilala at nagka-in-love-an, at ngayon ay mag-asawa na sila.

Nainggit
Madali lang ang naging negotiation ng TV5 kay Robin para mag-host ng TP 2014. Ani Ms. Wilma, tinanong lang niya si Robin kung interesado itong mag-host ng TP. Nagkaroon sila ng series of meetings, ipinapanood nila kay Robin ang mga dating episodes ng TP at agad naman nitong nagustuhan.

“Aaminin ko, hindi ko pinapanood noon ang ‘Talentadong Pinoy’ dahil kalaban ng dati kong show sa kabila (ABS-CBN). Natuwa ako noong napanood ko ang mga episode (TP), lalo na ’yung mga sirkero at ’yung may mga kakaibang talento. Iba talaga ang talento ng mga Pinoy. Dapat pagyamanin at suportahan,” pahayag ni Robin.

Siya ang magsisilbing tagapagtanggol ng mga contestant sa mga hurado ng TP 2014. Ayon kay Robin, nakikita niya ang kanyang sarili sa mga contestant noong bago pa lang siyang nag-aartista.

“Nakakainggit ’yung passion nila sa kakaibang talento. Nakaka-inspire ang mga istorya ng buhay nila,” saad ni Robin.

Noong rehearsal at taping nila para sa pilot episode ng TP 2014, nakipag-bonding si Robin sa production staff at contestants. Sa studio na siya natulog at nakipag-almusal pa sa mga ito kinaumagahan.

Mag-a-advance taping sila ng mga episode ng TP 2014 dahil next month ay magsisimula na si Robin ng shooting niya para sa pelikulang “Andres Bonifacio” na official entry sa 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival.

Mariel Rodriguez

First time
“Wowowillie” ang huling hosting job ni Mariel Rodriguez sa TV5 at matagal-tagal na rin ’yun. Kaya naman, excited siya sa pagbabalik-hosting niya sa “Talentadong Pinoy 2014” bukod pa sa magkasama sila ng mister niyang si Robin Padilla.

“Na-miss ko talaga ang hosting. Sanay ako sa game show at first time ko sa talent show. Naniniwala ako sa ‘Talentadong Pinoy,’ kaya okey na okey ako,” sambit ni Mariel.

Makakasama rin ng mag-asawang Robin at Mariel sa pagbabalik ng “Talentadong Pinoy 2014” si Tuesday Vargas. Personal niyang kikilalanin ang mga contestant, ang pamilya ng mga ito at ang kani-kanilang inspiring stories. Every week ay lima ang contestants.

Mapapanood ang TP 2014 tuwing Sabado simula sa Aug. 16, 7 to 8 p.m. sa TV5. Hanggang December ito this year na sa grand finals ay R1 million cash prize ang mapapanalunan ng tatanghaling Ultimate Talentadong Pinoy grand winner. Every week ay may celebrity judges at sa pilot episode, sina Alice Dixson, John “Sweet” Lapus at Jasmine Curtis-Smith ang nakatoka.
