Rain or Shine point guard Paul Lee is showing a different kind of talent when he posted a 15-second video with him doing a rap song that tells about encouragement despite difficulties in life.
Lee said that singing – or to be more exact rapping – is one that he likes to do growing up in the tough streets of Tondo, Manila and he feels it’s perfect time to not just show his talent but most importantly share a message.
“Habol ko yung makapag-bigay ng magandang message,” said Lee when contacted by The Bulletin yesterday.
Lee’s piece comes nearly a month after San Miguel Beer’s Arwind Santos released his own music video titled “Bagyo” on YouTube, which received mixed views from his co players and PBA fans.
The 6-foot-1 Lee, also a member of Gilas Pilipinas, said that the song is not yet complete and that the video clip he posted on his Instagram (IG) account was just a teaser to create awareness.
At the end of the clip, it has the words ABANGAN ANG #ANGAS.
