Former PBA chairman Robert Non of San Miguel Beer thinks that Rickie Santos, currently the operations chief, should be among those to be seriously considered as the next commissioner of Asia’s first professional league.
“He has the experience and he’s been with the PBA for years,” Non said yesterday.
“Of course, that’s just my opinion. At the end of the day, it’s the board that will decide on who should be the commissioner of the PBA,” added Non, who is currently the board vice chairman.
Non has one more in his mind on his other pick to be in the last three, but won’t tell who.
“Kailangan pa rin pag-aralan ng mabuti, kasi hindi talaga biro yung trabaho ng commissioner,” said Non. (Waylon Galvez)
