CAMP JUAN, Ilocos Norte – Police operatives arrested on Sunday one of Ilocos Norte’s wanted persons in an operation in Bani, Pangasinan.
Chief Inspector Jonathan Papay, spokesperson of Ilocos Norte Police Provincial Office, said Monday that a team from the intelligence branch of the police provincial office arrested Hadji Tacbian Palafoxy aka “Chokoy”/”Sukoy,” 38, of Barangay Nagrebcan, Badoc, Ilocos Norte.
Palafox ranked 5th in the list of wanted persons in Ilocos Norte due to two murder charges filed against him in court.
He was nabbed by virtue of an arrest warrants issued by Judge Manuel L. Argel Jr. of Branch 65 of the Regional Trial Court of Ilocos Norte and Judge Isidro T. Pobre of RTC Branch 18 in Batac City for murder cases. No bail was recommended in both cases.
A total of P110,000 cash reward will be given to the informant who provided information leading to the arrest of Palafox, according to the police. (Freddie G. Lazaro)
