The Quezon City Police District yesterday released the facial composite illustration of the alleged gunman of 44-year-old radio reporter and tabloid columnist Jose Bernardo in Quezon City Saturday.
Chief Insp. Rodel Marcelo, chief of the Quezon City Police District-Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit, described the gunman to be in his 30s, around 5’6”, has black hair, medium built, and has fair complexion.
Marcelo said the suspect was wearing a dark shirt with collar, short pants, and slippers at the time of the incident. He said they were able to get a facial description of the suspect through the help of a concerned citizen who witnessed the crime.
The witness, he said, has provided investigators from the Homicide Section under Senior Insp. Elmer Monsalve a sworn statement of the incident. (Francis T. Wakefield)
