Administration standard-bearer Manuel A. Roxas II yesterday urged voters not to be fooled with unrealistic promises of candidates and carried away with the drama being portrayed in campaign ads.
According to Roxas, ito ang dahilan kung bakit he made sure that all the messages that he relayed to the public through speeches and campaign ads are things which he could deliver.
“Don’t expect me to promise everything just to get the votes of the people. We approach our people as responsible citizens who could discern the lies from the truth,” said Roxas.
Napaulat na naging positive ang reception ng mga tao sa kanyang latest political ad in which he shunned empty promises and dramatic campaign ads.
In the TV ad, Roxas said what he could realistically offer to the Filipino is creation of more jobs as this is something that he knows very well.
Ayon sa mga kakampi ni Roxas, the Liberal Party standard-bearer ay nakatulong sa paglikha ng more than one million jobs when he initiated the investment of call centers in the country.
“Like I always say, I have not drama. I am focused on the welfare of the Filipino people. And we have enough proofs,” said Roxas.
Aside from Roxas, his rivals Sen. Grace Poe, Davao City Mayor Rodrigo R. Duterte, and Vice President Jejomar C. Binay have been aggressive in their TV ads. (Aaron B. Recuenco)
