Ace comedian Vice Ganda has blasted the Department of Foreign Affairs satellite branch at the Ali Mall in Cubao, Quezon City for showing a pirated copy of the blockbuster movie “A Second Chance.”
“This is disgusting! Hoy DFA Ali Mall ang garapal nitong agensya ng gobyerno na ito,” said Vice Ganda, host of “It’s Showtime!,” in his Twitter post.
“Langya maglalabas pa ng piratd na A Second Chance e meron namang pirated na Beauty and Bestie!!! Chozzz!” Vice Ganda added.
Vice Ganda made the reaction after AdProm Manager of Star Cinema Mico del Rosario posted a photo that showed the government
agency exhibiting the Bea billionAlonzo-John Lloyd Cruz-starrer for waiting customers.
“Dear Ali mall, bakit po kayo nagpapalabas ng pirated copy ng A Second Chance dyan? Blatant na po talaga ang paglabag sa batas? Umm..Government agency po kayo?” del Rosario said.
“A Second Chance” directed by Cathy Molina is now the biggest-grossing Filipino-movie of all-time after it earned R556 million in the box-office here and abroad.
The movie is the sequel to the 2007 movie “One More Chance.”
Various government agencies have stepped up the campaign against movie piracy in the Philippines for several years now.
