ACTRESS Diana Zubiri and husband, Filipino-Australian model Andy Smith, said that they are planning to have their first baby next year.
“Sana next year magka-baby na kami,” said Zubiri, now known as Mrs. Smith, during an interview in “Tonight with Arnold Clavio” over GMA News TV recently.
Smith also said that they are planning to stay here in the Philippines more often “while were having the baby.”
“Besides, andito rin yung business namin at may work pa rin naman ako dito,” Zubiri said. The couple are into garments and food businesses.
Zubiri and Smith were introduced to each other during a blind date. Soon Smith proposed to Zubiri in their trip to Japan. They finally got married in May 2015.
The actress recalled that she admired her husband’s toned abs the first time she saw it.
After their first meeting, Zubiri said that she asked for a sign if Smith was the guy for her. During their wedding, the actress said that Smith was an answered prayer.
Zubiri said that she can still make movies but with limitations now that she is married.
“Wala naman kaming problema kung ano yung ginagawa ko before. Syempre nakilala ako sa pagpapa-sexy. May konting limitations na pero ok naman. So abangan n’yo po ako sa mga show,” the actress said.
In a message to her husband, Zubiri said: “Sana ay you will stay the same simula ng nakilala kita, naging boyfriend kita at naging asawa na kita. Sana sa mga magiging anak natin, yung values na meron ka ngayon, ituro mo sa kanila.”
Smith told Zubiri: “I just wanna stay the way we are, happy, have a family, more happiness and more success. Just continue to be the best and bring out the best in each other.”
