NEWLYWEDS Vic Sotto and Pauleen Luna have arrived in the country from their honeymoon in Maldives.
The Kapuso stars said that they enjoyed their trip to the island country in the Indian Ocean.
“It’s short pero I would consider it sweet and very, very relaxing. ‘Yung wala kang iisipin. All you do is wake up and eat, go for a swim and eat again and sleep again. Masarap ‘yun, paminsan-minsan tamad ka eh,” said Sotto, in “Chika Minute” portion of “24 Oras” over GMA-7.
“Actually nag-relax lang kami. Wala kaming ginawa, humilata lang kami sa beach, nanood lang kami ng TV,” said Luna.
The new couple said that they were hoping to have a baby soon.
“Hopefully, nasa Panginoon na ‘yon kung bibiyayaan kami,” Sotto said.
“Hindi ko po alam, parang wala pa po,” added Luna.
Sotto, 61, and Luna, 27, got married in Ayala, Alabang in Muntinlupa City on Jan. 30, 2016.
Mr. and Mrs. Sotto also attended the launch of the first successful painting exhibit of Paulina Sotto, daughter of Vic by actress Angela Luz. Paulina is also the grand child of national artist Arturo Luz.
Also in full attendance were Oyo Boy Sotto and wife Kristine Hermosa, Danica Sotto and husband Mark Pingris and Vico Sotto.
“I’m super happy that they are all here. My parents have been very supportive my whole life. I’m very inspired by my lolo Arturo Luz. As you can see the colors are the same. We have the same philosophy which is less is more,” said Paulina.
“I’ve always been proud of her sa lahat ng mga endeavor n’ya,” Vic said.
Almost all the paintings of Paulina were sold out on the first day of exhibit.
