Actress Rosanna Roces has announced that she was finally getting married to her lesbian partner soon.
“Okay naman ang lovelife ko kakaiba pero I found my match. I found ‘yung something’s missing,”said Roces during an interview in “Tonight With Boy Abunda” aired over ABS-CBN.
Lahat parang experiment lang then parang may kulang. Something’s missing,” Roces said.
Osang, as she is fondly called by her peers, recalled how she met her lesbian lover.
“When I was 15, meron akong ka-on, babae s’ya. She’s a lesbian. Kasama ko s’ya sa bahay with my parents. Si Grace (Adriano), ‘yung anak kong panganay, ginawa kong parang anak namin.
“Alam nila lahat yan sa bahay. Akala n’ya mahal ko ‘yung tatay ni Grace which is not at ginamit lang s’ya para magkaroon ng baby na palalakihin namin,” said Roces, who will appear in “Ipaglaban Mo” on Saturday, Feb. 20, over the Kapamilya Network.
“So naghiwalay kami. After 27 years, nagkita kami uli at ngayon magpapakasal na kami.
“I’m very happy, obvious ba? Pag-tinatama mo pala ‘yung buhay mo, lahat ng mga bisyo mo nawawala with the help of the Lord,” she said.
Asked about her children Grace and Onyok, Roces said: “We are very OK. She has three grandchildren.
Now a lola at 43, Roces also said that she does not look at men anymore.
Roces has all praises for Nora Aunor whom she worked with in an indie movie called “Kinabukasan” and the teleserye “Sa Ngalan ng Ina.”
When you’re in between Anita Linda and Ate Guy, dapat alam mo ‘yung ginagawa mo kung kailan ka lumalagpas,” she said.
“Tinatandaan ko lang yung sinabi ni Tita Midz (Armida Siguion-Reyna), for you to become a good actor, you have to listen to the director,” Roces said. “Hindi pwedeng may sarili kang mundo.”
“Kasi kumbaga isang obra yan e. Kailangan lang talaga akong i-control para maging restrained ‘yung acting,” she said.
