Presidential candidate Mar Roxas said yesterday he knows how it feels to be a victim of electoral fraud as he insisted that he was cheated during the 2010 elections.
This is the reason, he said, why he would never engage in such illegal activity and in fact, would join the Filipino people in ensuring the peaceful and credible conduct of the 2016 elections.
“I was cheated last election (referring to 2010 polls when he ran for vice president). So I join our countrymen in calling for a clean and credible elections,” said Roxas.
The administration standard-bearer was reacting to recent survey result stating that almost four out of 10 Filipinos believe that candidates will cheat in the coming elections.
