THE male stars of sexy-drama teleserye ‘Pasion de Amor’ said that they frown at indecent proposals and would reject such offers that come along the way.
Appearing in “Tonight with Boy Abunda” aired over ABS-CBN, stars Jake Cuenca, Ejay Falcon, and Joseph Marco gave insights on how they handled indecent offers and the challenges they encountered while doing the Kapamilya serye.
“When I was younger, bago pa lamang ako, meron. Now nahihiya na siguro sila magbigay ng indecent proposal. Siguro lang I was lucky I was raised in a family na I knew there’s something wrong here or not right na hindi ganun kadali ang pera, or ano ba talaga ’yung kapalit nito. I don’t have any problem with it pero now na matagal na ako sa industriya, I don’t get any,” Cuenca said.
Mahihiya lang kasi sila or matatakot lang sila,” Marco said.
The male stars also recalled the challenges in the nine-month shoot for the series, including keeping their body fit and selecting the food they eat.
“I haven’t eaten a burger in one year-and-a-half, a decent one. Discipline lang talaga,” Cuenca said.
“Feeling ko ’yun ang pinakamalaking challenge namin. Most of the time hindi namin kinakain ’yung pagkain sa set, nagbabaon kami ng tuna, salad or fruits,” said Marco.
But Falcon said that he did not go on diet the way his other male co-stars did.
Observers also noted several sexy scenes in the afternoon series. But the stars said that they have been told about the topless and sexy scenes before they accepted their roles as brothers in “Pasion.”
“I honestly believe that the hardest challenge was to maintain our physiques, how to keep our body ripped. We have a formula na every time we have a break, we will go to the gym. I don’t say objectified but we had fun with it and it didn’t feel like a chore,” Cuenca said.
“Minsan ’pag wala na kaming topless scenes, kami na minsan nagvo-volunteer. Sabi namin, ‘Direk bakit walang topless scenes? C’mon let’s do it!” Marco added.
Ngayon maganda na,” Falcon said.
“Pasion” will end its run on Friday, Feb. 26.
“The hottest finale ever.
It’s one of the longest things we’ve ever done. Thank you!” Cuenca said.
