KAPAMILYA actor Gerald Anderson has admitted that he was always the more guilty party in his past relationships.
“Ganun talaga pag kasalanan mo. S’yempre ikaw talaga ang guilty. Plain and simple, nagkamali ako and I take the full responsibility in my mistakes,” said Anderson, during an interview in “Tonight with Boy Abunda” aired over ABS-CBN.
Anderson made the comment following a report that quoted him that he was always the more guilty party in a relationship. But he said that he learned from his mistakes.
“Just do your best to redeem yourself and be the man you want to be,” said Anderson.
The actor’s past relationships were Farina Runkle, Kim Chiu, Bea Alonzo, Sarah Geronimo, and Maja Salvador.
Anderson also said that he’s grateful to his mother who acted as his date on Valentine’s Day.
“Sobrang saya. My goal is to be a good son. Yun ang pinakamasayang Valentine’s Day ever, yung saya na nakita mo sa mukha n’ya,” he said.
Asked what he and his mother talk about these days, Anderson said: “We talk about the future with my future partner.
Anderson said that he wanted his future wife to be caring like his mom.
“Masarap pag-inaalagan ka tapos lalabas ka at pag-uwi mo, andyan s’ya. Mawawala ang pagod mo,” he said.
Anderson also gifted his mom with a bag for Valentine.
Tapos binalik n’ya at tumakbo s’ya palabas,” he narrated.
But just the same, Anderson said that he bought the expensive bag for his mother. “Nung nakita ko yung bag, sabi ko.
‘Oh my God!’ Pero Valentine’s Day.
Anderson, who stars in the movie “Always Be My Maybe” opposite Arci Munoz, said that he had a funny feeling that the character in the movie named Jake was him.
Ginawa n’yo pang Jake. Kaya naman nakaka-relate ako sa character,” he said. The film is directed by Dan Villegas under Star Cinema.
Anderson will turn 26 on March 7, as he celebrates his 10th year in show business. He will also inaugurate the Gerald Anderson Foundation on his birthday.
