Kapuso actor-television host Vic Sotto has said that he was thrilled to start another chapter of family life with actress Pauleen Luna to the point of changing diapers for their future babies.
“Ako ang bahala dun, sagot ko na ’yung pagpapalit ng lampin. Wala ng problema sa akin ’yun, praktisado na ako dun.
Nakahanda na ako dun. Ewan ko lang kung ipapa-ubaya nila sa akin,” Sotto told multi-awarded broadcast journalist Jessica Soho in an exclusive interview in “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho” aired over GMA-7.
But Luna, 27, said that she was more than ready to do it for their future kids. “Mahilig talaga ako sa kids and babies so if that will come, I will give my 100 percent to them.”
After more than four years of being sweethearts, Sotto and Luna finally got married in Alabang, Muntinlupa last January 30. The stars had just arrived from their honeymoon in Maldives Island.
Luna, also known as Poleng, has said that she and Sotto or Bossing, are now in the state of adjustment as a couple but said that their happiness doubled when they finally got married.
“We’re very happy! Nag-doble or triple ’yung happniess namin kasi magkasama na kami,” she said.
“Matagal na kaming magkakilala kaya parang alam ko na lahat sa kanya,” Sotto said.
“Hindi naman kami nag-pretend nung magkasama kami. Kung paano ko sya nakilala nung hindi pa kami married, ganun pa rin naman sya,” Luna said.
The actress also said that her husband now joins her early in going to the set of the No. 1 noontime show “Eat Bulaga.”
“Maaaga na s’ya pumupunta sa ‘Eat Bulaga’ studio. Normally, he comes in sa middle of the show kasi ‘yung portion n’ya towards the end. Ngayon sumasabay na sya sa akin,” Luna said.
Bossing Vic also said that these days, he goes to sleep early and wakes up early in the morning.
Luna also said that she would like to pamper herself in the kitchen soon and cook for Bossing. “Hindi ko pa pina-pamper ang sarili ko sa kitchen and also ayoko mag-marunong kung saan hindi naman ako magaling. A little bit lang ng breakfast kaya ko naman.”
The newlyweds also recalled the days leading to their wedding.
“Nasunod din naman lahat ng plano sa kasal. We’re not hard to please naman kung ano ang kalangan. We try to work with what’s there kasi we were only given three months to prepare. Gusto lang talaga namin simple and elegant,” Luna said.
“Gusto ko talaga close family and friends lang pero umabot din ng 300. Nagulat ako madami pala kaming kaibigan at kamag-anak,” Sotto said.
Bossing Vic also said that they attended the seminars for the wedding as required by authorities.
“Actually suggestion ‘yun ng mga anak ko si Danica and Oyo na umattend ng wedding seminar. It was very fruitful kasi marami akong nalaman. Akala ko alam ko na about relationship. Masarap ang buhay may asawa kasi matagal ko ng pangarap to settle down. Matagal akong nag-antay ng the right one and the right time. Finally eto na nga,” Sotto recalled.
