SILANG, Cavite – “Kung pinapili kayo: bayan o sarili, alin ang uunahin ninyo?”
Just like in the movie “Heneral Luna,” President Aquino posed this question to the country’s fresh batch of police officers while challenging them to shun corruption in treading their new career.
At the graduation of the 253-strong Masundayaw Class of 2016 at the Philippine National Police Academy here, the President called on the graduates to remain on the straight path and stay true to their duty to serve and protect the people.
Aquino said.
With the May elections fast approaching, the President also directed the police graduates to help ensure the peaceful and orderly conduct of the elections.
