‘Wow kapal! Deny pa more!”
This was the Facebook reaction of singer-actress Ciara Sotto, days after actress Valeen Montenegro denied that she was having an affair with Sotto’s husband Joe Oconer.
While Ciara did not name names in her FB post on March 11, netizens believed that the message was aimed at Montenegro.
On March 9, Montenegro denied in an interview with PEP.ph that she was the third party in the Sotto-Oconer split.
“Siyempre, it’s not… ano ba, it’s not something na I experience every day, so parang nagulat din ako.”
When asked if she has anything to do with the separation, Montenegro said: ““No, no, no.”
Montenegro added that she does not know where the rumors linking her to the split came from.
In February, posted another cryptic message on Instagram for mistresses.
“God is not going to bless you with someone else’s husband,” said Sotto.
Her post was a follow-up to her earlier messages that hinted at third party in her break-up with her husband recently. She also posted IG messages related to cheating.

Ciara, 35, and her son have returned to the home of her parents.
Showbiz reports have linked Montenegro in the Sotto-Oconer falling-out. Sotto and Oconer got married in 2010.
Montenegro, 25, appears in the Kapuso morning series “Princess in the Palace” starring child sensation Ryzza Mae Dizon.
Ciara is cousins with mega star Sharon Cuneta, Danica, and Oyo Boy Sotto.
