KAPAMILYA actor JC de Vera has denied courting “You’re My Home” co-star Jessy Mendiola.
Ako first time ko ma-experience yung ganito, enjoying the ride,” said De Vera, in an interview in “Tonight with Boy Abunda” aired over ABS-CBN.
Reports said that De Vera was courting a non-showbiz girl. On the other hand, Mendiola remains single after her split with JM De Guzman last year.
Mendiola, 23, however, admitted that being with De Vera makes her happy.
After all what happened to me last year, I’m in a state na binuhos kong lahat ng attention ko sa trabaho, That’s what making me happy right now,” Mendiola said.
De Vera and Mendiola also said that they were very surprised at the warm reception given them by fans for their love team in the late-night teleserye.
De Vera, 30, also promoted his new CD called “Stellar” in which he and Mendiola had a duet for the song “Nabihag.”
Abunda also asked the stars what they have learned from making the five-month teleserye, “I learned that you have to give your everything and fight for your love,” Mendiola said.
“Dapat pag-isipan mo talaga ng mabuti kung may gagawin kang isang bahay para hindi mo pagsisihan sa bandang huli,” said De Vera, who played a kidnaper in the TV series.
