KAPAMILYA star Kim Chiu has admitted that her boyfriend Xian Lim helped her get over former BF Gerald Anderson, during an interview in “Tonight with Boy Abunda” over ABS-CBN.
Chiu, 25, said that she has finally moved on from her relationship with Anderson after one year and a half.
“Siguro self-worth and self-respect. Tapos ’yung mga taong nakapaligid sa akin. And then si Xian. Dumating s’ya eh,” Chiu said, when asked how she coped with her breakup with Anderson.
Lim and Chiu, stars of the primetime teleserye “The Story of Us,” have already confessed that they are in a relationship.
Asked if she was still angry with Maja Salvador, Chiu said: “Grabe hindi naman ako Diyos. Wala namang may kasalanan.
It’s just that circumstances went in the way. Siguro may tampo pero hindi naman galit.”
It would be recalled that Chiu turned cold to her best friend Salvador who got into a relationship with Anderson.
But Anderson and Salvador have called it quits.
“Maja and I did not talk about it. Hindi ako nakikipag-confront. Nililihim ko lang. Ipapag-pray ko na lang ng isang Hail Mary then tapos na,” Chiu said.
Celebrating her 10th year in show business this year, Chiu recalled that the highest point of her career would be winning the “Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition” in 2006. She was the only housemate who was never nominated for eviction.
The lowest point, however, would be the death of her mother. “Gusto ko rin humingi ng tawad sa kanya.”
Chiu also said that she felt blessed and lucky to be part of showbiz.
“I’m living my dream. Pangarap ko talaga makita ang sarili ko sa TV at hanggang ngayon, isang dekada na, napapanuod ko pa rin ang saili ko sa TV. Yun lang ang pangarap ko. Then nakapag-provide pa ako sa family ko, sa sarili ko. I’m just blessed and lucky,” she said.
Chiu also said that her “Chinita Princess Funtasy Concert” on April 9 is very personal because she conceptualized and picked the songs for the show.
“Pagbigyan n’yo na lang ako. Ten years na naman ako. Xian will be part of the concert. May duet po kami, super fun s’ya. Ako po ang nag-conceptualize at ako ang nag-isip ng mga kanta,” she added.
“May theme po s’ya. Kwento ito ng isang prinsesa na pulubi at nangarap na maging prinsesa,” Chiu said.
Abunda promised Chiu to buy tickets to the show.
Thrown a hypothetical question about her relationship with Xian 10 years from now, Chiu said: “Siguro naman magkasama pa rin kami.”
