Trixie Antiquera scored 11 of her 14 points right in the opening quarter as the Lady Bulldogs took a 26-14 lead which the UAAP back-to-back champions gallantly protected to remain undefeated in five games in the annual preseason tournament presented by Dickies.

In all, the Lady Bulldogs buried 10 triples as Antiquera also contributed four threes.
The Lady Warriors, on the other hand, demolished Rizal Technological University, 73-52, and improved to 3-2 – the same record of La Salle and Blackwater in the tournament also sponsored by Advanced Solution Inc., Powerhouse, CW Home Depot, Dickies Underwear, Hapee Toothpaste and Jumbo Plastic Linoleum.
With Snow Penaranda scoring 17 markers, the Lady Archers crushed the Far Eastern University, 77-58, while the Blackwater Lady Elite drew 28 points from Cindy Resultay to clobber the Adamson Lady Falcons, 102-78.
