GERALD Anderson has said that spark for Bea Alonzo remains as they team up for a new movie under Star Cinema to be directed by Dan Villegas.
“Para sa akin never naman nawala. Tingnan mo naman s’ya, lagi s’yang may spark,” said Anderson, as he referred to Alonzo, during an interview in “Tonight with Boy Abunda” over ABS-CBN.
But Alonzo, 28, said that it is too early to confirm the spark Anderson was talking about.
“Too early to tell. Right now na-excite pa rin ako to see him and look at him, ang gwapo,” Alonzo laughed.
“But it’s gonna come out kahit anong mangyari,” Anderson added.
It would be recalled that Anderson and Alonzo dated in 2010. Anderson, 27, has confirmed that they really dated.
Alonzo said that the plan for them to make a movie has been discussed for many years now. It is only now that the project materialized, she said.
“Matagal na dapat kaming magka-trabaho pero ngayon lang talaga natuloy. So baka ito na ’yung tamang timing,” she said.
Both actors said that they are very excited to work in a movie project.
“Very excited and she’s one of the best. It’s great to work with the best,” said Anderson.
Alonzo was last seen in the 2015 blockbuster film “A Second Chance” while Anderson starred in the movie “Always Be My Maybe” earlier this year.
On John Lloyd
Alonzo also confirmed that she is not playing sweet music with John Lloyd Cruz.
“We’re friends. Nothing has changed,” she said.
Reports said that Alonzo and Cruz became close when they broke up with their respective sweethearts.
Cruz also denied he was courting Alonzo.
Alonzo said that she will support the new movie of Cruz entitled “Just the 3 of Us.”
“Oo naman, susuportahan ko ’yung movie. Sila ni direk Cathy (Molina) ‘yan eh. I think it will be a great movie.
Papanoorin ko.”
