In his last Labor Day message as Chief Executive, President Aquino yesterday hailed Filipino workers who toil hard for their family and their dreams.
Idinaraos natin ang Araw ng Paggawa bilang pasasalamat sa alay ninyong husay, dangal, at lakas sa ating bayan,” Aquino said in his Labor Day statement.
He said that in the past six years, the Aquino administration championed for the cause of Filipino workers.
The President urged Filipinos to work hard in ensuring that reforms will be sustained in the next administration.
Malacañang had earlier said the Aquino administration will leave behind a country with more jobs and less unemployment.
It noted that it was under the current administration where unemployment declined at its lowest level.
The Palace also said it was also good governance under the “Daang Matuwid” in which the Aquino administration was able to restore good business climate, trade, and investment in the country.
