JUDY Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo as a couple are going stronger as they renewed their wedding vows at their private resort in Batangas last April 30, two days after they celebrated their 7th wedding anniversary.
Joining the simple rite were the couple’s three children Yohan, Lucho, and Juana Luisa. Fr. Tito Caluag led the ceremony.
Multi-awarded talk show host Boy Abunda said in his late-night show “Tonight with Boy Abunda” aired over ABS-CBN that Lucho was one of the reasons why the couple renewed their vows.
Abunda said that their son had asked the couple why he wasn’t there at the wedding when he watched the video.
Abunda also said that the renewal of vows also gave Agoncillo, one of the hosts of popular noontime show “Eat Bulaga,” the opportunity to replace the lost wedding ring of his wife.
Spotted at the renewal of vows were actors Iza Calzado, Agot Isidro, KC Concepcion, and television hosts Suzi Entrata and Paolo Abrera.
Santos reminisced the day when she and her husband were serenaded by the Apo Hiking Society at their wedding.
“Seven years ago when Apo serenaded us. Seven years ago I was on cloud 9 dancing with my forever… This among others is my favorite part. Happy anniversary, my bubba!” said Santos, 37, on Instagram.
Agoncillo posted on IG a family photo with the caption: “Happy Sevenersary.” Later, he posted a group shot of their guests at the renewal of vows under the caption: “SeVen!!!”
Santos and Agoncillo, 37, met while filming the daily Kapamilya fantaserye “Krystala” in 2004. They confirmed their engagement in 2008.
